What is the cost of a bathroom remodel?
Bathroom remodels vary from $5,000-$12,000 for small bathrooms that need a fresh aesthetic and some minor upgrades to refresh the space. Medium size bathrooms with custom tile work and thoughtful selections can be in the neighborhood of $12,000 to $25,000. Large scale projects with tile flooring and custom shower sizes can be anywhere from $25,000 to $80,000 depending on the size and scope of the overall project. Usually this level of project involves moving walls and many custom solutions with high end fixtures.
What is the cost of a kitchen remodel?
Typically, our projects will range from $10,000-$25,000 for small kitchens with targeted renovations. (example: leave cabinets, install new counters and upgrade hardware) Larger kitchens with custom cabinetry, structural alterations and unique builds can be in the range of $25,000 to $100,000 depending on scope and customer selections.
What factors influence the cost of home remodeling?
Scope of work has the most influence on on cost, with customer selections coming in a close second place. We always ask about budget during the estimation phase because it will help us narrow the range of options for our clients. We try to tailor each estimate based on what our customer really needs and their vision for their project.
What areas of Oregon do you serve?
We serve Hillsboro, Beaverton, Tigard, Portland and Lake Oswego as well as some outlying areas on the west side of Portland.
Do you offer a craftsmanship warranty?
Absolutely! We are required by law to provide a 1 year craftsmanship warranty. We go above and beyond with a 2 year workmanship warranty on all work performed by Wellington Home Solutions.
Do you offer financing?
We do not currently offer financing for our projects.
What are your work hours?
Our crews typically work from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Sometimes, with owner consent, we will work outside our normal operating hours to complete projects and ensure we meet our projected timelines.
What is the process for a typical construction project?

Do you offer free estimates?
Yes! We happily offer free estimates for homeowners.
What factors into the cost of construction?
The main factors in remodeling cost are driven by material cost, labor cost, scale of the project, and site conditions. We recommend projecting a 3% overage due to changes in project scope to many of our clients. Quite frequently we complete projects on budget and on time.
How many estimates should I get for my project?
We recommend our clients get 3 estimates and select the company that you trust the most.
Do you use subcontractors?
We do use subcontractors for plumbing, electrical and counter fabrication. On occasion, we also use our trusted subcontractors when necessary in order to meet customer timelines. We always update our clients with who will be in their home and when to expect them.
Do I need to get a building permit?
If this is necessary, we will let you know during the project estimation phase.
How long does construction take?
Anywhere from 1 week to 8 weeks depending on the scope of work. We always provide a timeline to our customers with each estimate.
How far in advance should I plan for my construction project?
Ideally at least a month or two, but we have also completed projects start to finish within a couple days or a couple weeks depending on what your project entails.
Could my project go over the initial price quote?
That is entirely possible, we suggest our clients be prepared for a potential 3% overage for their projects. Very often we complete projects on time and on budget.
Do you offer design assistance for my project?
During the selection phase, we are happy to give input on styles and cohesiveness. We also send our clients to our trusted suppliers that can better assist with visualizing both the design and feel of your new space.
